Jax Industries has been working closely with Siemens Solar in Vancouver, Washington since 1999 to develop the recharge system being offered here today. The recharge system was refined and has been in continuous operation on over 40 systems for the past four years. This was done by in-house testing on Siemens' Kayex growers. This recharge system has been added to almost every Kayex grower in their facility, which consists mainly of Kayex 6000 and Kayex 3000 growers.
The original Jax Recharge System was designed to dispense the granular material offered by MEMC but a larger system has been perfected that will deliver the larger chunk and crushed material offered by polysilicon suppliers.
The Jax system has proven itself to be robust, reliable and very simple to install and operate. This system can be easily maintained by plant maintenance personnel.
The system operation is very straightforward and has built-in safeguards against over-pressure of the system or abrasion from the granular silicon. The feeder is designed for continuous melt replenishment processes, but can also perform batch recharging and topping off. Adaptable to any furnace design, this is the most versatile recharge system on the market.
The Jax system is powder-coated for purity and abrasion resistance and is offered in almost any color the customer desires. All components are industry accepted quality with standard connections for compatibility with any plant hardware.
We have supplied recharge systems for high-volume production applications for 8 years. We have systems installed at sites that include Siemens Solar, Sumco USA and others.
